Job Description:
A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to drive the
design, development, and implementation of data infrastructure and
solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and
data lakes
Lead the development of real-time data streaming solutions using
technologies like Apache Kafka and AWS
Oversee data quality, governance policies, and the overall data
platform architecture strategy
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Basic understanding of genomic concepts and terminology
6+ years of experience working with professional scrum teams
4+ years of experience using Git versioning control
3+ years of experience designing and indexing relational
databases
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer, data, math, or life
sciences or equivalent work experience
